Hello I'm Nerissa!
I’ve been a midwife for 8 years and am also an IBCLC 🤱🏼 I went straight into midwifery from when I left school, I look back on the bright eyed young 18 year old and would not change a thing!

I love caring for people, and knew I wanted to work with women so being a midwife was the perfect decision for me, and I am so privileged to call this a job! I believe that every women should have access to women-centred, informative and consistent midwifery support. I have worked through various roles within the public setting, including a period as an MGP midwife, and currently work in one of Adelaide's biggest public hospitals running antenatal clinics and providing postnatal care. I have a strong passion for supporting women in the postnatal period and strive to provide women with positive transitions into motherhood - supporting women to gain confidence in their ability to feed and care for their babies!
Nerissa is a total gem and we are so lucky to have her as part of our midwifery team providing postnatal support to mamas!
