Maybe your partner is wanting to know how you can work as a team during this time and what they can do to help?
Join me for the Positive Breastfeeding + Postpartum Course! *Taught Online via Zoom - you can attend from the comfort and safety of your own home*
‘I wish I had prepared for the postnatal period as much as I prepared for my birth.’
I hear this comment from SO many women and partners and have specifically created this course to help you feel confident and supported as you transition into your new role as parents! In current times it is even more important to be prepared for this huge period in your life.
This course is for women and support partners who want to achieve a positive transition into parenthood. This workshop incorporates up to date information, evidence based techniques and mindset tricks to help you to feel calm, confident and happy during those first few weeks at home with your new baby.
We will be covering what you need to know about breastfeeding, formula feeding, normal newborn behaviour, settling techniques and how to care for your baby, but we will also go further into why so many women and partners find this stage challenging and what you can do to set yourself up for success.
I am also passionate about honouring this time for new mothers and will teach you how you can support your recovery and health after the birth too as this is so incredibly important. Having emotional and practical support from a partner or friend can also make a huge difference, and we will be discussing the best ways that a support partner can help in the workshop.
This course is about supporting you to achieve your own goals and to feel confident and supported during your postnatal period. This is a judgement free zone, and there are no silly questions!
As part of the course you will receive exclusive access to Online Resources to support your preparation, and handouts will be provided throughout the course - including a Postpartum Cheat Sheet that you can refer to once your baby arrives. Super handy!

If you are apprehensive about using Zoom or online learning please know that I have completed many trainings via Zoom and also 1:1 client sessions and I know that we can still connect and have a great time learning this content. Often clients are pleasantly surprised with how relaxed and enjoyable Zoom sessions can be! I think now more than ever it is so important to have these tools and techniques to help you to stay calm and achieve a positive postnatal experience and breastfeeding journey. The world may seem to be stopping around us, but babies are still going to be born! Most hospital antenatal classes are being cancelled, however I am still here to help you prepare for your birth.
For starters, if you haven't used Zoom before, here is some general information.
You can run Zoom on any laptop, tablet, or smartphone. You don't have to have a Zoom membership or even log in to join a meeting. You can choose to enable your camera so we can all see your smiling face, or if you're in your pjs with bedhead, you can keep the camera disabled. I do think being able to see one another is valuable so I encourage you to enable the camera...I don't mind pjs and bedhead!
