Held Mothers Groups

Join our six week Held Mother's Group to learn, connect and build your mothering community! 

More than your average mums group!

Traditional mothers groups can be outdated and often leave new mums feeling even more overwhelmed. Our groups are small, supportive, and each session is facilitated by Hannah who is qualified to provide advice and education on all things motherhood, babies, breast/bottle feeding, infant sleep and emotional wellbeing.

 

Our sessions are held in the beautiful Good Hub workshop space which is the perfect place to connect with other women and fill your self care cup too. 

I (Hannah) attended a private mothers group when my son was a baby and am so grateful for the friendships that I have made. It truly made a huge difference to my motherhood journey, and some of my closest friends I met in my mothers group.

I have loved these mother’s group sessions. Having likeminded mums with their gorgeous bubs of similar ages sharing our experiences and having a laugh in a casual, supportive environment. Hannah facilitating each session gently, with her wealth of experience and up to date, evidence based knowledge taking us through some key information to support and empower us to make the best decisions for ourselves and our babies. Our groups run over 6 x weekly sessions with a maximum of 8-10 mums in each group.

Each session will be facilitated by Hannah and will cover a topic relevant to motherhood/parenting - the following is the plan for each of our Held Mother's Groups, however this is flexible and able to change depending on the needs/interests of the group:

  • Week 1 - Welcome, Infant Development and Attachment, Self Care + Emotional Wellbeing. 

  • Week 2 - Baby Wearing and Choosing the Right Carrier + Starting Solids

  • Week 3 - Baby Massage Workshop

  • Week 4 - Infant Sleep

  • Week 5 - Breastfeeding/bottle feeding across the first year of life

  • Week 6 - Planning another Baby and Transitioning Back to Paid Work

 

You will also receive access to our Online Education Portal with short, easily digestible videos, audio training and resources to support you on your parenting journey in the first 12 months. 

Each session will include morning tea, lots of connection time, and the opportunity to ask Hannah any questions around feeding, sleep, parenting etc!

 

Our beautiful venue will have plenty of space for you to relax with your baby - there will be yoga mats and pillows, as well as baby changing facilities. You're welcome to feed/care for your baby as needed throughout the session - this is a supportive space for little ones and new parents.
