Hi Hannah,
I just wanted to let you know that we had our baby girl just before midnight on Boxing Day. She's little but tall. 46cm and 2.435kg. Because she was little under in weight she had to spend some time in the nursery but it was only 14 hours. She's gaining weight quickly and is a total champ feeding.
The midwives were amazing at following my birth plan. I had skin to skin straight away and 6mins of delayed cord clamping, even though they wanted to get things going a bit quicker due to her size they really respected our wishes and were so good with everything.
I got through it all with my deep breathing, showers and red cordial for sugar! It really was the most magical experience.
Thank you so much your help and guidance prior to our little Willa arriving.
